TENTOURA KASTRO

The old people of Patras called it tentura and “muskovithra” because it had a strong aroma. Its taste, aroma and color are due to the spice extracts it contains, mainly cinnamon, clove and nutmeg, but also elm, citrus and more. Tentura is drunk everywhere: after a good meal as a digestive liqueur, in the cafeteria and bar as a regular drink, plain, with soda or tonic but mostly iced in small glasses, with sour cream and grated cinnamon.
