LAGAVULIN 12YEARS

Lagavulin 12 years has a complex and beautiful nose, full body, and a good balance between peat, fruit, and iodine. The high alcohol content of 54.5% makes it require a little water and its addition makes it softer, mitigating the bitter smoke and giving out sweet notes of fruit, peppers and oats. Aging in American oak endows it with vanilla aromas while the palate recognizes flavors of ripe fruits, such as apples and plums, always accompanied by peat from the water used in the distillery.
