Fortaleza Reposado is a tequila company that started in 2005, but the Guillermo Sauza family has been making tequila for five generations, going back to Don Cenobio, who is said to have been the first person to export tequila to the United States. He used steam to cook the agave instead of a clay pot, and determined the blue agave to be the best.
